Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven the transformation of financial services, including Islamic philanthropy activities such as infaq through digital Islamic banking services. BYOND by BSI is a digital service innovation that provides an infaq feature to facilitate users in distributing funds practically, quickly, and efficiently. However, users’ decisions to utilize this feature are influenced by various factors, including feature quality, ease of use, trust in digital services, and users’ religiosity. This study aims to analyze the effects of the infaq feature, ease of use, and digital trust on the decision to make infaq through the BYOND by BSI application, with religiosity as a moderating variable. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method by distributing questionnaires to students of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with the assistance of SPSS. The results show that the infaq feature, ease of use, and digital trust partially have a positive and significant effect on the decision to make infaq. Furthermore, religiosity moderates the effects of the infaq feature, ease of use, and digital trust on the decision to make infaq. Simultaneously, the infaq feature, ease of use, and digital trust, moderated by religiosity, have a significant effect on the decision to make infaq. The findings indicate that technological factors and religious values play an important role in shaping decisions to make infaq digitally. Improving feature quality, ease of access, and user trust is important for optimizing the use of the infaq feature in the BYOND by BSI application.
